The full-back, who started in his La Liga debut with FC Barcelona, breaks down the blaugrana victory over Granada

"These games are demanding, we managed to come out on top and justice has been done." That's how Aleix Vidal saw his first league match with FC Barcelona — as a starter, nonetheless. After receiving a yellow card in the 63rd minute and showcase his skill at right full-back, Vidal was subbed out in the 65th."

But despite not finishing the game, Vidal feels good about his progress.

"Arda [Turan] and I have tried to adapt ourselves to the maximum. Over the last seven months we have worked hard for when it came time to play," Vidal said.

Daniel Alves also spoke to the media after the game. Here are the highlights of what he had to say:

"The team played with fluidity and had scoring chances. We deserved the three points."

"We leave happy today because we enjoyed the game. We always try to have fun and let the fans enjoy it. Some days are tough and others not so much."

"Aleix Vidal and Arda Turan have adapted very well to our play. It is obvious that they need more minutes. They feel better each day, and we're here to help them feel at ease."

"We have a big lead in the Copa del Rey [tie versus Espanyol] and we'll try to make it to the next round, which is our goal."
